This directory contains a number of file symbols which can be used by applications for directory listings. The symbols can be used in many applications either directly or programmed in.

These symbols can be used directly by the NCSA or Apache WWW server. For information on this look at HTTPD.srm.conf which contains an example `icon' configuration for the servers config file.

These images were developed from a set of icons for WWW servers by Kevin Hughes <kevinh@eit.com> in his Public Domain Icons. This I believe are now distributed as part of the standard apache web server installation.
